OVERVIEW

Norbrook Laboratories embarked on a mission to modernize their Carnbane Works premises, inspired by the success of upgrades undertaken in their two other factories. Recognizing JK Fabrications Ltd as a trusted partner in engineering excellence, Norbrook turned to them to spearhead this transformative endeavor. Central to the upgrade initiative was the overhaul of the cooling and chilled water systems, necessitating the supply, delivery, installation, and meticulous testing of top-of-the-line 304 stainless steel pipework. Ranging in size from 50mm to 200mm in diameter, these pipelines formed the backbone of the facility’s critical infrastructure, ensuring precise temperature control and operational efficiency throughout the production processes. Moreover, JK Fabrications rose to the occasion by providing comprehensive solutions, including the supply and installation of all requisite lagging and cladding for the pipework, bolstering thermal insulation and system performance. K Fabrications showcased their versatility and expertise by supplying and installing a state-of-the-art stainless steel grade 304, 10,000-liter hot/cold pressurized vessel, meticulously engineered to adhere to the stringent standards of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. This vessel, along with its associated pipework, represented a pinnacle of precision engineering, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Through their collaborative efforts, Norbrook Laboratories and JK Fabrications embarked on a journey of innovation and excellence, setting the stage for a future of enhanced productivity and performance at the Carnbane Works facility.
