At JK Fabrications Ltd we are fully committed to helping and supporting the community in which we work. We actively engage with our local communities as we believe that creating a positive relationship with our stakeholders is at the core of our ethos. We have a range of local partnerships with local sports teams and charities and offer them support through funding and sponsorships. We have recently supported both Killeavy GAC and Orchard United FC by sponsoring kits and events.
Every year we have a colleague decide on a charity of their choice which we carry out fundraising events during the year with the support from our employees and the local community.

We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our business through continuous improvements into our environmental performance and maintaining sustainable practices.

Continuous Improvements
To help improve our environmental impact we will continuously carry out research and development into material and technologies that will minimise or prevent our global footprint and waste.
Cleaning Solution
Our environmental policies have been engraved into our company culture. All of our pipes are washed with a clean solution, this solution, however, is harmful if it returns to the water supply because of its high PH level. Due to this JK Fabrications Ltd has installed a holding tank, the runoff water from the cleaning solution is collected into a sump under group and then pumped into the holding tank. A neutralising agent is then added to the holding tank and after this, the PH level of the tank is monitored until the level is corrected and can be returned to the sewage system.
Health and Safety
At JK Fabrications Ltd we recognise one of our greatest assets, and keys to our success is the people we work with. JK Fabrications Ltd has a policy to conduct its activities with due regard to the safety of all employees, the general public, sub-contractors and others who may be affected by its operations.
The company complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978 and any Regulations or Codes of Practice made under these orders.
Health and Safety is not just a responsibility of Management, it is the responsibility of everyone employed by Fabrications Ltd and should be a personal objective of each and every one of us. We strive to ensure effective risk management and hazard identification in order to provide effective controls and eradicate the risk of personal injury and suffering.
JK Fabrications Ltd will provide information, instruction, training, and supervision to secure the skills required to effectively work in a safe and competent manner. We recognise that communication and consultation is an integral part of our daily behaviour and an effective tool in the elimination of accidents.
Our safety management systems will identify our organisational structure, its responsibilities, our standards, procedures, controls, and resources provided to achieve a world-class management system. We will monitor and audit our performance internally and externally to ensure that we do not become complacent. The continuous improvement of our Health and Safety Systems will always be our objective.
The policy provides the framework for setting and reviewing OH&S objectives. The Directors have overall responsibility for the implementation of this policy. The Health and Safety Policy statement will be revised on an annual basis or at times when changes in legislation or work practices make a review necessary.
