Overview
Our experienced fabricators and welders are coded to BS-EN287 Part 1 and BS-EN ISO 15614:2004 and most of them have 15 years or more experience to ensure quality standards and workmanship, taking your project to the next level.
We operate an in-house machine and fabrication facility in Newry, the modern workshop is equipped with state of the art machinery including 800m automatic saws, guillotine, brake press, fabricating rollers, synergic pulse welders and numerous TIG & MIG welding plants.
To improve lead time and increase production we invest regularly in upgrading our equipment to ensure the best result for your project, this has recently included the latest state of the art CNC Pipe Profiling machine. This fully operational and automated machine is capable of multiple cuts up to and including 800mm.
Forming
Service
We utilise the highly efficient DURMA AD-R 37220 CNC HYDRAULIC PRESS BRAKE that guarantees high-quality bending results across the entire length of the machine. We can also provide further services to complete your metal formed projects including finishing, plating, welding, and assembly.
Forming Specifications:
- Bending Power – 242 Ton
- Bending Length – 3700 mm
- Accurate positioning and repeat performance
- Calculation of bottom dead center for accurate bend angle
Rolling
Service
Rolling enables sheet metal to be formed into cylindrical shapes. Sheet metal can be transformed into tanks, cylinders, hoops, and bands. With numerous rolling machines at our disposal, if your project requires a rounded form then we can make it.
Rolling Specifications:
- Sheet metal Length – 2500 mm
- Pre-bend Capacity – 10 mm
- Bending Capacity – 8 mm
- Maximum metal thickness – 13 mm
CNC Pipe
Profiling
At JK Fabrications we utilise a highly efficient RB 400/800/6 MP 6 axis CNC Pipe Profiler machine. This machine is capable of profiling up to and including 800 diameter tubing.
CNC Pipe Profiling Specifications:
- Profile pipework up to 25mm wall thickness.
- Plasma and Oxy-Acetylene cutting.
- Used for profiling both stainless and carbon steel tubing.
- Savings on fitting and welding.
