Caugh Hill Water Treatment Works (WTW)

Caugh Hill WTW is located in the Sperrin Mountains and in winter the road access is often limited for prolonged periods.

To increase the storage capacity of the key water treatment chemical ferric aluminum sulphate (FAS) and hence avoid running out, the FAS storage capacity had to be doubled on this project.

JK Fabrications were sub-contracted by FM Environmental to design, manufacture and install 2 50m3 horizontal cylindrical storage vessels for Ferric Aluminium Sulphate, for a water treatment works, including associated pipework between vessels and excising works.
