The Role:
As a coded pipe welder, your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Understand technical plans and have good math skills for working out measurements
- Fully capable of working with jigs, fixtures and hand build fabrications to high standard of accuracy
- Able to change reels and torch components. Able to troubleshoot welding problems
- Able to produce vertical & overhead welds to consistent high standard
- Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
- Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
- Good communication skills and good team working ability
- Willing to undertake training as required and provide training as required
Essential Criteria
- At least 4 years of welding experience
- TIG and/or MIG Welding Certification
- Ability to interpret drawings
- Work on own initiative
- Flexibility to work overtime
